Growing up, I always thought that Africa is just a barren land like the one I saw in the movie 'The gods' must be crazy' where you see naked people walking and people haunt for food. I was wrong.
I've been privileged to travel and experience Africa at its worst and best. So today, I'd like to share some of those moments.

I came to Africa without any expectations. And because of that, it helped me understand the people and their culture with an open mind..
Africans value their culture so much inspite of their diversity. People living here are deeply wounded by the slavery in the past and still suffer racism from people around the world. And because of their gruesome experience in the past, some of them unknowingly became racist towards other people who have different skin colour (like me).
But despite of that, I've met quite a number of Africans who are one of the nicest people in the planet. They impacted my life in a very unique way. And one of them is my husband. :)

Zambians are very hospitable. I've been offered to drink this traditional drink called chibwantu. Its a combination of corn porridge and some root crops boiled all together. Don't ask me about the taste. It's weird. Hahahaha. But hey! They like it.
Africa is rich in nature and natural resources. You can find lots of extraordinary fruits and amazing creatures in this place. When you come here with a high powered camera, you will never go wrong!
Hope you enjoyed this brief article about this place. I'm hoping to post more!
Cheers! :)
